The Kids Flora Jacket by Brightside Fabric Co. is a cozy, boxy and oversized quilted jacket designed for kids. With a choice of collar or hood, three pocket styles and customizable details, it's a versatile outerwear pattern that's perfect for playing with colour, quilting and contrasting fabrics.

View A features a stand collar, while View B features a hood. Both versions have a curved hem, snap-front placket, roomy sleeves and bias-bound edges.

The Flora can be made from pre-quilted fabric, a thrifted quilt or coverlet, or you can quilt your own fabric using a woven outer fabric, batting and lining. The instructions include guidance for quilting your own fabric, making this a fun project for creating a completely unique jacket.
