This rackmount stagebox places 32 remotely controlled microphone inputs and 12 analog line outputs near the performers, connecting them to a compatible Soundcraft Si console through MADI over Cat5 cabling. Studer-designed preamps and analog-to-digital converters provide the input stage, while the XLR outputs can feed front-of-house, stage monitors or other line-level destinations.
The 3U enclosure integrates the MADI connections directly into the chassis, reducing the need for a bulky analog multicore between stage and mix position. Supported Cat5 cable runs extend up to 100m. The host console must have a compatible MADI interface; a console option card is not included with this stagebox and is sold separately when required.
