Playtime - The Criterion Collection (4K-UHD)

Monsieur Hulot wanders through a hyper-modern, identical Paris of glass and steel, as a group of American tourists discover the city's peculiarities. Jacques Tati's monumental comedy — filmed over three years on a purpose-built modern city set, nearly bankrupting its director — is one of cinema's supreme achievements: a film in which the frame itself becomes a playground for observation, gag, and grace.
