Black Pit of Dr. M (Blu-ray)

Two doctors make a pact: whichever one dies first will contact the survivor from the afterlife and reveal the secret of returning from death. When Dr. M keeps his end of the bargain, the consequences prove monstrous. Misterios de Ultratumba — translated as Black Pit of Dr. M — is a landmark of Mexican genre cinema, lauded by Guillermo del Toro for its eerie, atmospheric beauty and the genuine dread conjured by director Fernando Méndez.

This Indicator Series Blu-ray presents a new restoration of one of the great hidden masterworks of late 1950s horror, featuring its distinctive high-contrast black-and-white photography and expressionist production design.
