L'Avventura - The Criterion Collection (Blu-ray)

During a Mediterranean yacht excursion, a woman disappears — and her lover and her best friend begin a search that gradually becomes something else entirely. Michelangelo Antonioni's revolutionary masterwork — booed at Cannes, then awarded the Special Jury Prize — abandons conventional narrative for a drifting, unsettled inquiry into alienation, boredom, and the impossibility of modern connection.
