Antique Handmade Cloth Folk Art Doll – Embroidered Face

Antique handmade cloth doll featuring a carefully embroidered and sculpted face, blue bead eyes, brown natural-fibre hair arranged in an elaborate braided bun, and individually sewn fingers with tinted nail details.

The stuffed fabric body has long sewn limbs, integrated stockings and black cloth boot-style shoes. A distinctive piece of early folk-art dollmaking with considerable age and character.

CONDITION

Poor antique condition with extensive staining, discolouration and general wear.
