Pair of 19th Italian Torcheres, Now with Marble Tops

These painted and gilt bases date from the early 19th century or earlier. Each trefoil base is panelled, carved and gilt with a leaf and has a round rouge marble top that contrast pleasingly with its base. They would be ideal in many decorative schemes.
