The Game - The Criterion Collection (Blu-ray)

A wealthy San Francisco banker (Michael Douglas) receives a mysterious "game" as a birthday gift — an experience designed to personalize itself to the participant — and finds his reality gradually dissolving into paranoia. David Fincher's Hitchcockian thriller is a supremely engineered puzzle film: a dizzying study of control, privilege, and the terror of losing both.
