Yard Long Bean Mix Seeds Organic

The yard long bean mix (also known as asparagus beans) is a fascinating addition to any garden. This mix features tender green and vibrant red pods that can reach an impressive length of 50 cm (20 inches). Unlike standard beans, yard long beans thrive in hot, humid summer weather. From the Tourne-Sol co-operative farm, these certified organic seeds produce vigorous climbing plants that require a sturdy support to showcase their long, flavourful, pendulous pods.

• Sow directly in the ground only when the soil is very warm, well after any danger of frost has passed.
• Provide a trellis or fencing at planting time to support this vigorous climber.
• Harvest the pods while they are young and tender, approximately 90 days after sowing, for the best texture.
• Sow seeds at a depth of 3 cm (1").
