Our Story - Notre histoire Madame Bong is from Gwangju, in the province of Jeollanam-do in South Korea: it is an important region for Korean cuisine. “Jeollanam-do is the Korean equivalent of Provence, France, or Naples, Italy.” (businesstimes.com) She learned to cook from her family, but also began training with chefs in commercial kitchens at a young age. Madame Bong est née à Gwangju, Jeollanam-do, Corée du Sud: c’est un région important pour la cuisine coréenne.
