FLESH BOOKER PRIZE WINNER 2025 AT DE STIIL

On Flesh: A Conversation with David Szalay

Join us at De Stiil for an evening with David Szalay, winner of the 2025 Booker Prize, in conversation with writer and critic Sean Michaels, to discuss Flesh, his award winning novel.

Following István from adolescence in Hungary through adulthood and into the world of London’s wealthy elite, Flesh is a spare, propulsive novel about class, power, intimacy, masculinity and the forces that shape a life. Szalay’s singular approach to the novel has earned widespread critical acclaim and the 2025 Booker Prize.

Come hear Szalay and Michaels discuss the book, its characters, and the ideas at its centre, followed by an opportunity to continue the conversation.
