FENDER Custom Shop 62 STRAT Closet Classic, Olympic White
$5699.00
The FENDER Custom Shop 1962 Stratocaster Closet Classic in Olympic White blends vintage-inspired aesthetics with the exceptional craftsmanship and playability of the Fender Custom Shop. Finished in lacquer with a lightly aged Closet Classic treatment, this Limited Edition Strat delivers the look and feel of a well-preserved early-'60s original while weighing a comfortable 7.9 lbs.
Built with a resonant ash body, this guitar features a plain grain maple neck carved to a comfortable ’63 Strat Style “C” profile and topped with a premium AAA rosewood fingerboard. The 7.25"–9.5" compound radius and Vintage Upgrade 45085 frets provide an authentic vintage feel with enhanced playability for modern musicians.
A trio of hand-wound Fat ’60s pickups delivers the unmistakable Stratocaster voice, offering sparkling highs, warm mids, and articulate note definition. The RWRP middle pickup provides hum-canceling operation in positions 2 and 4, making this guitar equally at home for clean rhythm work, expressive blues leads, and classic rock tones.
Combining timeless Olympic White styling, premium tonewoods, and authentic Fender Custom Shop appointments, this 1962 Stratocaster Closet Classic is a superb instrument for players seeking vintage character with modern reliability.
