Burton Genesis EST® 2027 – Straps Bindings

The Burton Genesis EST® 2027 is a high-end strap binding built for dedicated riders who want a slightly softer, comfort-focused setup without sacrificing response. Designed exclusively for Channel™-compatible boards, it suits all-mountain riders who log long days and expect their gear to keep up.

Built around the EST Channel™-only mounting system, the Genesis uses a dual-component Dynamic Flex baseplate with a Hinge that channels flex precisely where you need it for better foot roll and easier ollies. The Hammock hi-back suspends the heel to sharpen response and cut vibration, while B3 gel cushioning in the baseplate stays effective across a wide temperature range and heavy use. Double Take toe buckles round out the package. Sizes available: S, M, L.

The Genesis EST® is the go-to for experienced riders who spend full days on the hill and need cushioning that doesn't quit by afternoon. If you ride Channel™-equipped boards and want a binding that locks you in without beating you up, the Genesis delivers exactly that balance. It works best for those who prioritize board feel and comfort over maximum stiffness.

• Is the Genesis EST® compatible with all snowboards? No — it requires a board with Burton's Channel™ mounting system. It will not fit standard 4x4 or 2x4 insert patterns.
• How stiff are the Genesis EST® bindings? Burton positions the Genesis as slightly softer than their stiffest models, making it a medium-to-stiff option that balances response with all-day comfort.
