Description

The North Face Freedom Insulated Bib is built for young riders hitting the mountain from first chair to last run. Designed for kids ages 2 to 7, it combines reliable weather protection with the practical features parents need for a full day out — without sacrificing comfort or freedom of movement on the snow.

The shell is constructed from a two-layer DryVent™ fabric (151 g/m², 100% recycled polyester) with a non-PFC durable water-repellent finish, keeping kids dry through wet snow and changing conditions. Heatseeker™ synthetic insulation (80 g, 90% post-consumer recycled polyester) delivers consistent warmth without added bulk. The regular fit runs true to size for an easy, unrestrictive feel, while leg gaiters seal out snow at the boot interface and reinforced kickpatches at the hem protect high-wear zones. Adjustable suspenders, elasticized sides and back, a centre-front zip, and multiple hand pockets round out the practical side of the bib.

Who it's for

This bib is ideal for kids in ski school or family resort days who need dependable warmth and dryness all day long. The good-to-grow system, which adds up to 5 cm of length, means one bib can carry them through more than one season. It's a smart buy for parents who want performance gear that keeps up with a growing child.

FAQ
  • Is the bib fully waterproof? Yes — DryVent™ two-layer technology is seam-sealed and engineered to be waterproof, windproof and breathable.
  • How does the grow system work? Hidden extension fabric in the legs can be released to add up to 5 cm in length, extending the life of the bib across seasons.
