Jones Howler 2027 – Women's All Mountain Snowboard
The Jones Howler 2027 is a women's all-mountain snowboard built for riders who refuse to choose between freeride power and freestyle creativity. Co-designed by pro riders Elena Hight and Victor de Le Rue, it bridges aggressive backcountry performance with the playfulness needed to make any terrain a canvas.
Built on a directional shape with a longer nose and setback stance, the Howler runs a High Power Camber profile — full tip-to-tail with an extended flat zone under the rear inserts — for explosive pop and locked-in edge hold on steep lines. Its mid-stiff flex (8/10) is matched by a triaxial fiberglass laminate and ampliTex™ carbon/flax stringers for precise, powerful response. The Power Core blends bamboo, paulownia and poplar for a lightweight yet lively feel, while Koroyd dampening absorbs chatter at speed. A Sintered 8000 base, Medium Traction Tech edges and a low taper round out a build made for intermediate to expert riders charging mountains on their own terms.
Who It's ForThe Howler suits confident intermediate to expert women who spend most of their days off-piste — hiking spines, dropping chutes or sending big airs in the backcountry — but still want a board that rips groomers on the way home. If you're tired of boards that force you to pick a lane, this one is built for you.
FAQ- Is the Howler good for park riding? It can handle occasional park laps thanks to its freestyle-influenced design, but its directional shape and stiff camber make it best suited for freeride and backcountry use rather than dedicated park sessions.
- What makes this board eco-friendly? Jones uses a bio-resin made with 27% plant-based carbon (reducing CO₂ by 33% vs. conventional epoxy), a castor-bean topsheet, recycled ABS sidewalls and edges made from recycled German steel.
