Powder Ghost — A Lucian Rook & Elara Quinn Mystery

High in the Colorado Rockies, a snowboard instructor sees something on the mountain she was never meant to see — and by morning, she is gone. No note, no struggle, no trace, only an empty locker and a lift pass no one remembers issuing. Private investigators Lucian Rook and Elara Quinn are called in when the resort's own inquiry stalls at the tree line. What begins as a simple missing-person case quickly turns into something colder: a killing the mountain itself seems determined to bury under fresh snow. As Rook and Quinn push deeper into the backcountry, following a trail of half-erased tracks, guarded locals, and a radio channel that shouldn't exist, they realize the witness may still be alive — and that whoever silenced her will do anything to make sure she stays lost. With an avalanche warning closing in and time running out, the two investigators must decide how far they are willing to go into the white to bring back the truth.
