Widget and the Interrupting Gorilla

Widget is so excited for his bedtime story that he keeps interrupting Aunt Beep before she can finish speaking. To help him practice listening, Aunt Beep turns story time into a playful lesson-with a surprising gorilla mask, plenty of laughter, and several chances for Widget to try again.

As their imaginative adventure unfolds, Widget discovers that listening means more than staying quiet. It means waiting patiently, paying attention, and giving others the chance to finish what they are saying.

Widget and the Interrupting Gorilla is a funny, reassuring picture book that helps young children understand conversational turn-taking, patience, respectful communication, and the importance of being a good listener. With lovable robot characters and playful bedtime fun, it is ideal for shared reading at home, in classrooms, and in libraries.
