Billy and Julie: A Short Story

New York City, 1986. Julie Morgan is a young journalist searching for a human story behind the statistics of homelessness when she meets Billy, a man living on the streets who still carries his intelligence, dignity, and love of books.

What begins as an interview slowly becomes something deeper. As Billy finds a second chance and begins rebuilding his life, Julie discovers that the man society stopped seeing may become the person who changes her own life forever.

Billy and Julie is an emotional short story about love, dignity, compassion, second chances, loss, and the invisible people a busy city learns to ignore.
