Crimson Wax: A Dark Romance: The Melting Wax Trilogy, #1

Evangeline Yeager is one to blend into the shadows. The quiet one in her family, the quiet one at work, and the quiet one amongst friends. But it's justified in her mind. A failed relationship with an ex-fiance; the strained-relationship between her and her chief-of-police father, Shawn; and the 10 year anniversary of her grandfather's death in an unsolved homicide case. Icy solitude in the shadows has become her normalcy.

But Evangeline is not the only one in the shadows. It all begins by a simple encounter at a gas station with a glacier blue-eyed man who wears a black facemask with red teeth. Soon, it unravels into a dark, intoxicating obsession in every corner of her life. In the midst of being targeted by this lurker, she finds herself drawn to solving her grandfather's unsolved case when death after death occurs around Evangeline and those she loves. The investigation proves to be a test of right, wrong and will. The hunt for answers can only last so long. And she can only run so far.
