Faithful Sweet Pinky

Sarala never expected an ordinary afternoon in the garden to change everything. Chasing butterflies among the mango trees, she hears a faint, trembling cry — and finds a tiny, frightened kitten hiding beneath the flowers, with nowhere else to go.

What starts as one girl's soft-hearted rescue soon grows into something much bigger. Sarala names her Pinky, and together they stumble through the everyday chaos of new pet ownership — muddy paw prints, midnight disappearances, a very unfortunate incident involving a fly and someone's favourite glass. Along the way, Sarala learns that love means responsibility, patience, and quite a lot of cleaning up.

But when danger creeps into their home one quiet night, it's Pinky who proves just how far loyalty can go — and just how much a small, faithful heart is capable of.

Faithful Sweet Pinky is a gentle, funny, and deeply heartfelt story about the bond between a girl and her cat, perfect for young readers who love animals, family, and stories that remind us that the smallest creatures often have the biggest hearts.
