The Other Side of Choice: Jaina's Stroy

What if the life you were given became the life you chose?

Jaina finally knows what happened to her.

The strange device that changed her from Jacin to Jaina was no accident. It was part of something far larger—a phenomenon that affected people across the city, leaving them trapped with memories of lives that no longer exist and bodies that no longer match the people they remember being.

But now there may be a way to reverse the changes.

For the first time, Jaina could have the chance to become Jacin again.

The problem is that she no longer knows if she wants to.

As Jaina and Scott work with their professor to reconstruct the mysterious machine, they uncover evidence that could change everything. For some of the people affected, returning to their original lives may be the answer they've desperately wanted. For others, the lives they've been forced into have become more real than the ones they left behind.

And Jaina is caught between those two possibilities.

Then, just as she begins to find peace with Scott and allows herself to imagine a future in the life she has built, disaster strikes. The laboratory is destroyed, the device is lost, and the possibility of discovering the truth seems farther away than ever.

But the research can be rebuilt.

The machine can be rebuilt.

And Jaina's choice can wait.

At least, that's what she thinks—until an unexpected discovery makes everything else suddenly seem small.

The Other Side of Choice is a story of identity, second chances, love, and the terrifying freedom of deciding who you really want to be.
