Beyond Reason: things I cannot explain

Yuwana Adhi spent years trying to be reasonable about things that refused to be reasonable. Beyond Reason is what happened when he ran out of explanations.

He is not a medium, not sensitive in any trained or deliberate way, just someone who grew up in a country where the visible and invisible have always shared the same air, and who eventually stopped trying to decide how much of what he witnessed was real.

This is a personal, chronological record: encounters that started young, a silhouette, a rhythm, a gate that should not have opened the way it did, moving through the slow, uneasy process of learning to recognize what he was dealing with, and arriving finally at the hardest chapter, written in memory of a father and a brother he lost, about the things that are difficult to forgive and the things he felt too late.

Nothing here has been tidied up for effect. Whatever has been watching him since the beginning is, as far as he can tell, still watching. He has made his peace with that. Mostly.

For readers of quiet, personal supernatural nonfiction, closer to a diary than a ghost tour.
