Faith is outlawed. Time is controlled. But a machine is about to change the rules.

Jay is a time traveler hunted by the Guild he once served, his body aging faster with every jump. Beside him is Aurelia, an American nursing student pulled into a conflict she never chose and marked for death by a future Administration determined to erase her. She wants only to go home. The problem is, the past she remembers may no longer exist.

Once an artificial intelligence, Alice now inhabits an organic body and possesses something no one planned for: a will of her own.
