Bearing The Pirate Captain's Heir: A Filthy Historical Pirate Breeding Romance

I never wanted to bear a child for any pirate, but Lucas Owens demands an heir to cement his command over the crew, and the rite requires the men to witness every claiming.

Our hands stay pressed on the chart at the rail long after the course is set, and neither of us mentions it. His broad shoulders tense when I refuse, yet the hunger between us grows with each watch we spend alone in the dim powder magazine.

The rite will turn our private hunger into public succession, witnessed to protect against rivals, and I fear the belonging it promises might destroy the independence I have fought to keep. The longboat waits in the hidden cove. I have never taken it.
