Sure-dart: Restored Classics to Go Edition

Sure-dart plunges into a Cretaceous Colorado where humans live among colossal dinosaurs, sea monsters, and other death-beasts in a world of lush tropical lakes, mixed forests, and relentless danger. At the center are Hop-foot and Sure-dart, two resourceful boys of the Rock-people, armed with poisoned darts and a stone axe, learning that survival depends on sharp eyes, quick feet, and colder judgment than fear allows. Their hunt becomes a fight for life as giant predators give chase, forcing them into caves, safety-holes, and desperate close-quarters defense. Sure-dart's calm precision, Big-axe's hard-won leadership, and the tribe's growing alarm over a rival war-party and the approaching Fishers drive the story into wider tribal conflict. Alongside thrilling hunts and brutal battles with terror-birds and reptiles, the novel explores invention versus tradition, especially in a debate over cooked meat. Blending scientific imagination with nonstop action, this prehistoric adventure builds a vivid, perilous world where courage and cunning are the only sure weapons.
