How to Become Legendary

What does it take to become legendary—a brilliant plan, a fearless crew, or simply the courage to begin?

Barnaby, an ambitious baboon with more confidence than experience, watches Leo prepare for a mysterious journey and makes an important decision: he will become a legend too.

There is only one problem.

Barnaby has no ship, no plan, and no idea what he is doing.

So he gathers the most unlikely crew in the savanna: a clever Zebra, a dramatic Flamingo, a proud Warthog, a stubborn Porcupine, a fearless Honey Badger, a noisy Rooster, and a deeply skeptical Monitor Lizard. Together they form a football team, attempt to build an impossible ship, accidentally destroy a termite home, and discover that becoming legendary is not about looking heroic.

It is about choosing one another when everything goes wrong.

Filled with humor, friendship, football, teamwork, and 67 full-color illustrations, How to Become Legendary is an illustrated animal adventure for children ages 5–10 and families who enjoy reading together.
