Soulfire Volume III: The War Games

Once in a generation the Desert Sect opens its arena, and the deadliest fighters alive walk in. One walks out. The prize is three wishes, granted without question and without limit.

Only two men have ever claimed it. One founded a faith. The other walked out of that arena with the technique he would later use to erase an entire people from the world.

A thousand candidates cross into the Crimson Desert. Among them is a masked fifteen year old who answers to no house and no name, and who kills a legend in under a minute in front of witnesses slowly realizing whose technique they are watching.

He has not come for glory. The Desert Sect has spent seventeen thousand years quietly steering the Continent's wars, and grew rich on treasure stripped from a massacre.

He has known what he means to ask them for since he was four years old.
