My Illegal Life: Part 1- The Dream

My Illegal Life

Part I — The Dream

What would you risk for the chance to escape the life you were born into?

Diego grows up in poverty, surrounded by hunger, hardship, and the painful reality of having very little. Yet one thing keeps him moving forward: a dream of a better life.

He dreams of escaping poverty, helping his family, and becoming someone beyond the circumstances that have defined him.

But dreams are not always easy to reach.

Along the way, Diego faces bullying, rejection, disappointment, and moments that make him question whether his dream is worth pursuing. Still, he refuses to give up.

Then, just when his future seems uncertain, an unexpected opportunity appears—one that could finally open the door to the life he has always imagined.

But every door leads somewhere.

And Diego is about to discover that chasing a dream can come with a price.

Part I — The Dream begins the journey of My Illegal Life, an emotional story about poverty, hope, ambition, family, and the choices we make when we desperately want our lives to change.

The dream is only the beginning.
