The Snow Day

The Snow Day: A Yellowstone Adventure

When a sudden winter storm sweeps across Yellowstone, young Torrey sets out on skis with her beloved dog, Loki, for what should be an ordinary snow day. But when the two become separated, Torrey must venture deeper into the snowy wilderness alone.

As the storm closes in, the familiar landscape transforms. Along the way, Torrey encounters Yellowstone's remarkable winter wildlife and begins to discover that the wilderness holds more than she imagined. Guided by courage, curiosity, and an ancient mystery hidden beneath the snow, she must find her way home-and find the strength within herself.

The Snow Day: A Yellowstone Adventure is a beautifully illustrated story of friendship, adventure, and the wild places that inspire us. Set in the winter landscapes of Yellowstone, the book invites young readers to slow down, look closely, and discover the magic waiting just beyond the familiar.

The adventure continues-from page to film in the animated film The Snow Day Winter 2026/27.
