The Will That Knew Her Name - A Haunted Inheritance Horror Mystery

Mara Quinn has never heard of the great-aunt who left her a shuttered Victorian in a dying New England mill town. She has heard of the clause. Live in the house for thirty consecutive days, and never count the rooms. Three months behind on rent, named on no lease, with no living family to call, Mara takes the train. The house is warm. The work comes easily there. The money starts arriving early. Then the tally marks on the cellar doorframe gain a line for every night she sleeps. A neighbor calls her by another woman's name and will not explain it. And in the town's deed book, eleven women have owned this house in ninety years. Every one of them alone. Not one of them left a forwarding address. Thirty days is not very long. The house has waited longer.
