The Gibberlings At Christmas: The Gibberlings, #6

Christmas is coming to Little Whelk-on-Sea, and Harold Bletchley is determined that this year, everything at the Bayview Hotel will be perfect.

The hotel is fully booked. The food is ordered. The decorations are ready. Harold has lists, schedules and contingency plans for practically everything.

Unfortunately, he also has four Gibberlings.

Plinka discovers Christmas decorations and decides there can never be too many. Doff discovers presents—and the troubling idea that he has to wait before opening them. And Grom decides that Father Christmas clearly needs an assistant.

Then the snow begins.

When the worst blizzard in years cuts Little Whelk-on-Sea off from the outside world, Bayview's carefully planned Christmas falls apart. Guests are stranded, deliveries cannot get through, the power fails and people across the town need help.

So the Gibberlings do what they do best.

They launch a rescue operation.

Soon Grom is charging through the snow dressed as Father Grom, Plinka is turning everything he can reach into a Christmas decoration, Doff is discovering that giving presents might be even better than keeping them, and Floora is experiencing something she thought she had lost forever:

A home.

With stranded travellers, missing presents, improvised sleighs, antler-wearing sheep and enough festive chaos to destroy every one of Harold's carefully prepared plans, this will be a Christmas Little Whelk-on-Sea will never forget.

Because sometimes the perfect Christmas isn't about everything going according to plan.

Sometimes it's about having somewhere warm to come home to—and a family waiting when you get there.

Festive, funny and full of heart, The Gibberlings at Christmas is Book Six in M.J. Webb's Gibberlings series.
