What Lies Beyond - A SciFi Anthology

What lies beyond the stars? Beyond the future? Beyond the limits of technology, reality, and-perhaps most dangerously-our own curiosity? In What Lies Beyond, twenty-two imaginative voices tackle those questions and quite a few we probably should have known better than to ask. From doomed voyages and alien encounters to artificial intelligence, android companions, parallel worlds, mysterious planets, and futures where humanity may not be quite as human as it remembers, these stories venture into the strange, the funny, the frightening, and the wonderfully impossible. So grab your spacesuit, keep an eye on your computer, and maybe don't trust the thing looking back at you from the mirror. The future is calling-and our authors have some very different ideas about what might be waiting when we answer.
