War in Ukraine Volume 15: Air War over the Donbas, 2014-2015

For the first time, War in Ukraine Volume 15: Air War over the Donbas, 2014-2015 provides a comprehensive picture of Ukrainian Air Force operations during the fighting against pro-Russian illegal armed formations and the Russian army, which supported them in the Donbas. The book provides a chronicle and analysis of the Ukrainian Air Force's combat deployment over the Donbas in the summer of 2014, revealing, for the first time, details of the number of sorties, losses, and the effectiveness of the onboard weaponry of the main Ukrainian military aircraft - the Su-27, MiG-29, Su-25, and Su-24. The use of Russian air defence systems against Ukrainian aircraft is also analysed. The book is generously illustrated with photographs, many of which are published for the first time.
