Chinese Reader Xiao Ming's Birthday: Chinese Graded Readers aimed at Beginner, Simplified Chinese, NEW HSK Standard

The story follows Xiao Ming, who wakes up excited on his eighth birthday. His mother prepares his favorite breakfast, eggs and noodles, symbolizing longevity. At school, his friends sing to him, making him very happy. That evening, his family hosts a party with a large strawberry cake. After making a wish and blowing out the candles, Xiao Ming receives several gifts, including a new bicycle from his father and a book from his sister. The day concludes with Xiao Ming feeling grateful for the love and celebrations shared with his family. This book is for all Chinese beginners. I tried to include most of the vocabularies used in the story, along with their English meanings. Wherever possible, I tried to make use of simple grammar structures and avoid the more complicated grammar structures. If you are a beginner in the Chinese language, this is the book for you.
