He discovered which plants were edible, which could heal illnesses, and which were poisonous, then shared this knowledge with everyone. One day, however, Shennong tasted a beautiful but deadly plant. Before he could find an antidote, he died from its poison. Although the people mourned his loss, his discoveries lived on, improving countless lives for generations.
This book is for all Chinese beginners. I tried to include most of the vocabularies used in the story, along with their English meanings. Wherever possible, I tried to make use of simple grammar structures and avoid the more complicated grammar structures. If you are a beginner in the Chinese language, this is the book for you.
