The Unblessed Grace: The Killer's Grace Arc, #2

The Unblessed Grace

A Prequel to The Blessed Killer

Some monsters are born. Others are forged at the altar.

Ten-year-old Mikaella Williams is quiet, obedient, and completely void of human emotion. Where others feel fear or remorse, Mikaella sees only inconvenience—and precise solutions.

When a tearing family secret forces her mother into desperate, frantic religious devotion, Mikaella is subjected to rigid discipline to cleanse the darkness in her eyes. But she doesn't break. Instead, she learns to weaponize the performance of piety, using faith as the ultimate camouflage.

Sent to an isolated convent to be tamed, Mikaella begins perfecting a deadly mask of innocence. As the shadow of her inherited nature deepens, those around her soon realize the horrifying truth: you cannot purify what was never holy.
