SOUTA'S LAST REFUGE

At seventeen, Ilan Leclerc shines through his intelligence and his passion for the stars. But at school, his brilliance makes him a target. When he finally refuses to obey his bullies, violence erupts — and a brutal incident shatters the fragile balance of his world.

At the same time, in Sengoku‑era Japan, young samurai Souta fights to save his besieged clan. A prodigious strategist and soon‑to‑be father, he reads the constellations to anticipate the enemy's moves. Watching over him is Takeda Ryoji, a warrior as loyal as he is enigmatic.

Two stories separated by centuries.

Two adolescents whose destinies are under threat.

And, little by little, unsettling echoes: fissures, correspondences, shadows crossing from one world into the other.

When a forest clearing reveals three decapitated bodies, an investigation begins. It will uncover a truth more disturbing than any fiction — and a spirit willing to do anything to protect the one it has chosen.
