1959 Swiss Travel Poster, Saint-Gothard, « A travers la belle Suisse par la ligne du Saint-Gothard »

Date: 1959

Size: 24 x 39 inches
Artist: Hans Schöllhorn

This beautiful piece is an original vintage tourist poster from 1959, created by the Swiss artist Hans Schoellhorn (1892-1982). This emblematic work, created to promote the historic Gotthard railway line, often features a Swiss shepherdess and celebrates the Alpine landscape crossed. This children's illustration-like poster would look fantastic in a nursery or child's bedroom.  In very good condition. Please see photos for details.
