The XYT Workout Top PDF Sewing Pattern by Fehr Trade is a close-fitting sleeveless activewear top with a scoop neckline and a choice of three distinctive upper-back designs.
An optional built-in bra is included for extra support, and the neckline and armholes can be finished either with hidden elastic or with bindings applied using a coverstitch binder. Designed with negative ease, the finished garment measures approximately 90% of the corresponding body measurements for a close athletic fit.

The XYT Workout Top requires Lycra jersey with at least 50% stretch in both directions and good recovery.
Wicking Lycra and other high-recovery activewear jerseys are ideal for running, training and workout wear.
The optional built-in bra requires power mesh or power net with stretch in both directions. Because power mesh stretch can vary considerably, measure the stretch of your fabric before cutting.
Fabric Requirements- Main Fabric: Less than 1 m (1 yd) Lycra jersey with at least 50% stretch in both directions
- Optional Bra Lining: Less than 0.5 m (½ yd) power mesh
- Optional Contrast: Accent trim or contrast Lycra for the T-Back Lower section
- 3 m (3¼ yd) of 1 cm (⅜") elastic for neckline and armhole edges, if not using bindings
- Less than 1 m (1 yd) of 2 cm (¾") elastic for the lower edge of the optional bra lining
- Twin needle or coverstitch machine for elastic edges and hem
- 1 cm (⅜") seam allowances included
- 2 cm (¾") allowance included at the wide elastic edges of the optional bra
- 3 cm (1¼") hem allowance included
