The VNA Top PDF Sewing Pattern by Fehr Trade is a close-fitting sleeveless workout top inspired by a 1930s Vionnet evening gown. Its distinctive design combines a front V-neck, curved underbust seam and angular back seaming for an athletic top with elegant shaping.
With no side seams and bound neckline and armhole edges, the VNA Top is designed for comfortable movement during running, training and other active pursuits. The pattern is drafted with negative ease for a close performance fit, with the finished garment measuring approximately 90% of the corresponding body measurements.
If sewing the VNA Top for casual everyday wear rather than activewear, Fehr Trade recommends choosing one size larger for additional wearing ease.

The VNA Top requires Lycra jersey with at least 50% stretch in both directions and good recovery.
Wicking Lycra and other high-recovery activewear jerseys are particularly well suited to the close-fitting design.

If you plan to lengthen the top, additional fabric may be required.
