Designed for medium to heavyweight knit fabrics, the Sidney works particularly well in sweatshirt fleece, loopback jersey and structured cotton jacquards. Ribbing is used to finish the neckline, cuffs and hem and can be purchased as pre-cut strips or cut from ribbing fabric.

This beginner-friendly pattern is a great introduction to sewing sweatshirts and working with knit fabrics.

• If omitting the ribbing at the bottom: 2 strips for all sizes
