Sewing with Striped Shirting

For a polished finish, consider matching the stripes at prominent seams and using the stripe direction as a design feature on collars, cuffs, pockets, yokes and button plackets. Depending on your pattern and desired stripe placement, additional fabric may be required for matching.

Care

Pre-washing before cutting is recommended, as cotton may shrink. Machine wash with similar colors in cool or warm water and tumble dry on low or hang to dry. Iron at a cotton setting as needed.
