The Issa Vest Sewing Pattern by Maéli Paris is a relaxed sleeveless layering piece designed to be worn over shirts, T-shirts and sweatshirts.
Issa features a comfortable straight silhouette finished with bias binding and a snap-button front closure. Make it with or without the optional flap chest pocket for a simple, versatile vest that can easily be adapted to different fabrics and styles.
The pattern is particularly well suited to quilted fabrics and upcycling projects, making it a great way to transform blankets, vintage curtains, quilted garments and other existing textiles into a practical everyday layer.

Choose medium-weight fabrics with enough structure to highlight the shape of the vest and its bias-bound finish. Fabrics between approximately 150–350 gsm are recommended.
