The Rose Bralette & Top Sewing Pattern by Maéli Paris is a versatile woven bralette designed with upcycling in mind. Wear it on its own as a top or layered under a shirt.

Rose includes three different versions: a short bralette, a longer bralette and a top. The design features a flattering neckline and front ties, with additional back loop-and-button details on Version 2.

Designed specifically for woven fabrics, Rose is an ideal pattern for showcasing beautiful lightweight textiles, vintage embroidery, embroidered linens and other special fabrics that deserve a second life.

Recommended Fabrics

Choose lightweight woven fabrics with some structure rather than very fluid fabrics. Fabrics between approximately 50–150 gsm are recommended.

• Tie fabric – Sizes 34–38: 140 cm × 7 cm
• Tie fabric – Sizes 40–42: 150 cm × 7 cm
• Tie fabric – Sizes 44–48: 160 cm × 7 cm
• Tie fabric – Sizes 50–52: 180 cm × 7 cm
• 0.8 cm wide flat elastic: up to 54 cm depending on size

Version 2 – Long Bralette:

• Main fabric – 140 cm wide: 0.75 m for sizes 34–52
• Tie fabric – Sizes 34–38: 140 cm × 7 cm
• Tie fabric – Sizes 40–42: 150 cm × 7 cm
• Tie fabric – Sizes 44–48: 160 cm × 7 cm
• Tie fabric – Sizes 50–52: 180 cm × 7 cm
• 0.8 cm wide flat elastic: up to 28 cm depending on size
