Reliable Velocity 270IR Auto Control Compact Vapor Generator Steam IronThe Reliable Velocity 270IR is an advanced compact vapor generator steam iron combining sensor-controlled steam, eight pre-programmed temperature settings and Reliable's patented steam technology for precise, versatile pressing.
Its patented compact vapor generator uses a two-heating-element system and micro-pump technology to pre-heat water and convert it into steam before it reaches the soleplate. This design provides continuous steam while helping prevent the leaking and spitting commonly associated with traditional steam irons.
With eight pre-programmed temperature settings, the Velocity 270IR automatically coordinates temperature and steam output for a wide range of fabrics. The sensor steam handle activates steam when your hand is placed on the handle, providing intuitive steam control while pressing.
An anodized aluminum soleplate, 8-minute auto shutoff with bypass and 360° swivel cord complete a feature-rich iron designed for sewing, garment construction and everyday fabric care.

The Velocity 270IR uses Reliable's patented compact vapor generator technology to heat water before it reaches the soleplate.
A combination of two heating elements and micro-pump technology converts the water into steam before it reaches the soleplate. This allows the iron to provide continuous steam, including at lower ironing temperatures, while helping eliminate leaking and spitting.
8 Pre-Programmed Temperature SettingsThe Velocity 270IR features eight pre-programmed settings designed for a range of fabrics. The system controls the temperature and steam output according to the selected setting, making it easier to move between delicate materials and heavier fabrics.
Sensor Steam HandleReliable's sensor touch technology provides intuitive steam control. Placing your hand on the sensor handle activates the steam, delivering a steady flow while you press.
Anodized Aluminum SoleplateThe Velocity 270IR features an anodized aluminum soleplate designed to glide smoothly across fabric while providing a durable, scratch-resistant pressing surface.
Auto Shutoff with BypassThe Velocity 270IR includes an 8-minute automatic shutoff for added safety. When continuous operation is required, the auto-off bypass allows the automatic shutoff function to be bypassed so the iron can remain ready for extended pressing sessions.
360° Swivel CordThe 360° swivel cord moves freely as you iron, helping reduce cord tangling and providing greater freedom of movement around your ironing board or pressing station.
