Reliable Velocity 240IR Compact Vapor Generator Steam Iron

The Reliable Velocity 240IR is an advanced compact vapor generator steam iron designed to provide continuous steam while giving you greater control for pressing everything from delicate fabrics to stubborn creases.

At the heart of the Velocity 240IR is Reliable's patented compact vapor generator technology. Unlike traditional irons that can be prone to leaking and spitting, the Velocity uses a two-heating-element system and micro-pump technology to pre-heat the water and convert it into steam before it reaches the soleplate. This allows the iron to deliver continuous, consistent steam even at lower temperatures.

The sensor steam handle provides intuitive steam control, while Eco and Turbo settings allow you to adapt the iron to different fabrics and pressing requirements. An anodized aluminum soleplate provides durable performance and smooth contact with the fabric.

For applications requiring uninterrupted operation, the Velocity 240IR also features an auto shutoff bypass, allowing the automatic shutoff function to be bypassed when continuous operation is needed.

Compact Vapor Generator Technology

Unlike conventional steam irons where water travels directly toward the heated soleplate, the Velocity 240IR uses Reliable's patented compact vapor generator to convert the water into steam before it reaches the soleplate.

A combination of two heating elements and micro-pump technology pre-heats the water, helping produce a continuous supply of steam without the leaking and spitting commonly associated with traditional steam irons. This technology also allows the 240IR to provide consistent steam at lower temperatures.

Sensor Steam Handle

The Velocity 240IR features a sensor steam handle designed to make steam control intuitive while ironing. The sensor-based system allows the iron to respond during use, providing convenient steam control without interrupting your pressing workflow.

Eco & Turbo Settings

With Eco and Turbo settings, the Velocity 240IR can adapt to different pressing requirements. Eco provides a gentler option for delicate fabrics, while Turbo provides increased performance when tackling stubborn creases and fabrics requiring more intensive pressing.

Anodized Aluminum Soleplate

The Velocity 240IR is equipped with an anodized aluminum soleplate designed for durable performance and efficient pressing. Its smooth surface allows the iron to move easily across fabric while maintaining consistent contact during pressing.

Auto Shutoff Bypass

The auto shutoff feature provides added safety during everyday use. When uninterrupted operation is required, the auto shutoff bypass allows the automatic shutoff function to be bypassed, making the 240IR particularly convenient for extended sewing and pressing sessions.

360° Swivel Cord

The 360° swivel cord moves freely as you iron, helping reduce cord tangling and providing greater freedom of movement around your ironing board or pressing station.
