The Camille Wide Leg Pants & Shorts Sewing Pattern by Maéli Paris is a high-waisted wardrobe staple with a relaxed, statement-making silhouette. Designed with subtly flared wide legs and a visible button-front closure, Camille combines classic trouser construction with distinctive pocket detailing.

The pattern includes both a full-length pants version and a shorts version, making Camille a versatile project that can be sewn and worn throughout the year.

Recommended Fabrics

Choose a medium to heavyweight woven fabric between approximately 220 and 350 g/m², such as denim or cotton twill.

For the intended fit, Maéli Paris recommends fabric with approximately 5–30% stretch and no more than 4% elastane.

If using a non-stretch fabric such as rigid denim, vintage curtains or upcycled jeans, making a toile first is recommended to check the fit before cutting into your final fabric.
