The Doriane Jacket Sewing Pattern by Maéli Paris is a versatile outerwear pattern designed with multiple length, sleeve and hood options. Its panelled construction makes it especially well suited to colour blocking, patchwork and upcycling projects.

Choose between short or long versions, with or without sleeves, and add the optional hood with visor for even more possibilities. Doriane features a distinctive polo-style neckline band with snap closures, welt pockets, lining and elasticated sleeve finishes on the long-sleeve version.

Recommended Fabrics

Short Sleeveless Version: Choose medium to heavy woven fabrics approximately 250–450 gsm, such as wool coating, cotton, gabardine or quilted fabric.

Long Version with Sleeves: Choose lighter outerwear fabrics approximately 200–250 gsm, such as cotton or water-resistant fabric.

Because Doriane includes several panels, it is an excellent pattern for mixing coordinating fabrics, patchwork, denim remnants and other upcycled materials.
