Choose a medium to medium-heavy woven fabric between approximately 220 and 350 gsm to give the jacket structure and warmth.
Recommended main fabrics include:

- Medium-weight canvas
- Structured cotton fabrics
For the lining, choose a lightweight and smooth fabric such as viscose or lightweight cotton. A smooth lining will make it easier to slip the jacket over sweaters and other layers.
