The 057 Haori Jacket Sewing Pattern by CUT/SEW takes inspiration from the style lines and shapes of traditional Japanese haori jackets and reimagines them with a modern, fashion-forward silhouette.

This cropped jacket features built-in centre-front ties and a shorter length inspired by Happi coats. Wear it as a statement layering piece, incorporate it into a cosplay wardrobe, or sew it in your favourite fabric for an easy summer jacket.

The choice of fabric can completely transform the finished garment. Medium- to heavyweight fabrics create a more structured silhouette, while lightweight linen gives the jacket a softer, more relaxed appearance.
